Fun Song by Corby Lund, made more dramatic by the background images being those of the brave Rhodesian forces that stood up to Communist Terrorism and Racist, anti-White, Eurocidal despots. A great inside look at the men among men defending Western Civilization and Christian Culture.

Rhodesia was Wakanda - modern, technologically advanced, good schools, good water, good healthcare, and good government. It was the breadbasket of Africa. Built by pioneers, destroyed by immigrants and invaders. It is vital to learn the lessons from Rhodesia, Haiti and South Africa.

"This is my re-uploaded tribute to the men and women who served in the Rhodesian Army during the Bush War 1965-80 especially those who served, fought and died in the RhAF, Selous Scouts, RhSAS, RhACR, RAR, RLI and RhArty during Op Miracle Sep/Oct 1979. Thanks guys, you will always be remembered. My thanks also to the regimental associations of the Selous Scouts and RhSAS for use of photos taken by operators and published in other media. Photos published here from my personal collection were either taken by myself or by other members of RhACR and shared amongst us."

"I think that what Rhodesia has become only proves that these brave men were fighting for the right cause - A Rhodesia where all people, black and white, benefited from the bounty of a stable and well organized economy and infrastructure."

"Rhodesia will always have my love and support. It will never die for those who love it and all it represents!"

"Rise, O voices of Rhodesia! Rest in peace Rhodesian Heroes!"

"When I look up the words 'bravery', 'dedication' and 'guts', there is a picture of a Rhodie. God bless all those who fought for freedom against thugs and terrorists."

"I think Rhodesia lives on not just in the hearts of people who lived there friend, but those who believe in the principles and ideals she stood for as well. I am a soldier in the US Army and I am too young to know the wonders of your land but had i been born 60 years ago i would have along side you proudly!"

Lyrics:
I wanna be in the cavalry if they send me off to war
I wanna good steed under me like my forefathers before
I wanna good mount when the bugle sounds and I hear the cannons' roar
I wanna be in the cavalry if they send me off to war
I wanna horse in the volunteer force that's riding forth at dawn
Please save for me some gallantry that will echo when I'm gone
I beg of you sarge let me lead the charge when the battle lines are drawn
Lemme at least leave a good hoof beat they'll remember loud and long
I'd not a good foot soldier make, I'd be sour and slow at march
And I'd be sick on a navy ship, and the sea would leave me parched
But I'll be first in line if they'll let me ride, by god, you'll see my starch
Lope back o'er the heath with the laurel wreath underneath that vict'ry arch
Let me earn my spurs in the battle's blur where the day is lost or won
I'll wield my lance as the ponies dance and the blackguards fire their guns
A sabre keen, and a saddle carbine and an army Remington
Where the hot lead screams with the cold, cold steel let me be a cav'lryman
Let 'em play their flutes and stirrup my boots and place them back to front
For I won't be back on the rider-less black (jack) and I'm finished in my hunt
I wanna be in the cavalry if I must go off to war
I wanna be in the cavalry, but I won't ride home no more

If you like Rhodesia and learning about the Bush War, you may also like reading "A Handful of Hard Men: The SAS and the Battle for Rhodesia" by by Hannes Wessels. Here is a review of the book:

and here is it's link on the internet archive library, though you can also get it at any number of bookstores.

We must never forget what they did to Rhodesia, as it is what they are trying to do to us today.

Here is a good post on Gab that summarizes what Rhodesia’s armed forces were fighting for.

“Rhodesia was a peaceful nation. We'd stopped the bloody wars and enslavement between various tribes of different races and ethnicities. We simply wanted to get on with building a great nation that elevated all. We elected a humble Prime Minister, who loved his working farm and simple home. History has proved him right.
Rhodesia thrived, no one starved, crime was so low police didn't need guns and the best education and hospitals in Africa were available freely to tribal people who'd never seen a tap or a toilet.”

Whether you were on a helicopter, truck, or a horse, the cavalry has always been a vital part of the military.

Rhodesia was smart to use horses to patrol in the brush, and increase mobility over rugged terrain. We probably should have used horses in Viet Nam.
