Reason now accepts the matter in hand's status as an "objectively universal sphere of knowledge" as the starting point but realizes this is not just Art but also Ethical Law. Ethical laws seem to be accepted without justification as self-evident, immediate givens, but turn out on closer inspection to be something else.
