HomeAsperger's Syndrome: 9 most valuable traits of Aspies
Asperger's Syndrome: 9 most valuable traits of Aspies

People with Asperger's Syndrome are often rejected as socially awkward. This is unfortunate because Aspies have many positive traits.

    VALUABLE TRAITS OF ASPIES

    1 reliable
Aspies are well organized and value schedules
This allows them to get things done

    2 agreeable and humble
Seldom will you find an Aspie with narcissistic traits.
Rather, Aspies readily follow well-formulated instructions

    3 unselfish
You will be hard-pressed to find a selfish Aspie.
Rather, they tend to be empaths (affective empathy)
Unfortunately, their unselfish nature makes them vulnerable

    4 consistent
In relationships, Aspies tend to be consistent.
What you see is what you get and will continue to get.
This may explain why married Aspies tend to remain married.

    5 honest
    Aspergians are inherently honest.
I recently did a video on this very topic.

    6 aren't forceful
Aspies seldom force themselves on others
If anything, they aren't forceful enough

    7 patience with boundaries
Aspies tend to be unusually patient
Again, the valuable trait can also be detrimental to Aspies
In time, however, most learn to establish boundaries

    8 self-respect
    Aspies learn to respect themselves
Due to their passive nature, they are often bullied as children.
Those unpleasant experiences prompt Aspies to develop self-respect.

    9 unapologetic
Because Aspies think rationally rather than emotionally,
    they seldom need to apologize.
