William Taylor: Putin realizes that he made major blunder when he invaded Ukraine on February 24

William Taylor, United States Ambassador to Ukraine (2006-2009), in an exclusive interview with our correspondent Vitaliy Syzov stated that Russian President Putin is desperate. ‘I think he realizes that he made a major blunder when he invaded Ukraine, William Taylor stressed. U.S. intelligence services are watching very carefully to see if there's any indication, any movement on the part of the Russian military to operationalize, to begin to move any of their nuclear weapons into a place where they could be used. However, William Taylor said that we have to take seriously the information on nuclear weapons. ‘When a dictator who doesn't have any real control, any checks on what his decisions might be, when he threatens the use of nuclear weapons, we take it seriously,’ Taylor added.
