This is an uncut version of the 2009 video explaining, with trading data and other objective sources, the role of naked short selling hedge funds in lighting the fuse that ignited the 2008 economic meltdown.
NOTE: when this was made, the SEC was enforcing rules against manipulative naked short selling, and so the video references what "used to be" possible. Obviously circumstances changed in the interim and it's been happening again.
