This mod is our custom install of the Soundtraxx Tsunami 2 DCC Sound decoder and custom lighting in the N Scale Kato FEF 838 Freight Steam locomotive. This new decoder from Soundtraxx is the latest in their great line of sound decoders and has improved motor control, sound reproduction and programming features. We have used this new decoder in several r our sound packages and just love the results. This installation takes advantage of the 2 auxiliary lighting outputs for the Fire box and Mars red headlight.
