Sig X-Carry VS G45 MOS Some Best Choices | New Owners Defense Pistols. Welcome to all you new owner and old owner alike. Glock and Sig, specifically the X-carry and G45 MOS are two that fill most needs for new owner and those thinking about self defense, home defense or anything else like a truck gun, van gun or rv gun. Both of these are the hybrid design the G45 MOS is the G19 slide length with the 17 round capacity G17 grip size. The Sig X-Carry follows suit with the G45 but with the sweet 21 round Sig factory magazines its a beast. The sig has a slightly better trigger than the G45 out of the box and a better overall feel with the X-carry grip. The aggressive grip angle of the G45 grip is not everyone's cup of tea but Glock has the reputation for extreme durability.
