Linda & Sarge really let their imaginations get over the top. Speculations & parroting sensationalistic stories they've heard from other storytellers & so on. I heard Sarge & Linda even claim the Bible has been changed & edited. A claim that can easily be disproven with a little research & detective work.
I have heard, maybe from the super soldier MAGA guy with the horns, that the portals are located off ground level to prevent the repeated accidental teleportation of unknowing sheep. Places like rooftop maintenance rooms, church steeples, fire escapes and the like. makes sense to me.
