The slander against Mengele never ends reading all these Holocaust stories. I have read two books, one in particular the Gerald Posner book, MENGELE, a book that actually came out against Mengele, which is nothing but nonsense.

One wonders why Mengele's notes and diaries aren’t used for his defense. It's because those notes would exonerate Mengel. If attacks come against Mengele then his Jewish lab assistants should be demonized also,( see pp 88 of Marwell’s book about the Normal research, count the number of Jews on it ). This “Mengele Effect” and “Mengele Myth” are real diagnoses of how memory goes crazy but in defamation of a good doctor as most of these people "experimented" on from Mengele lived to tell their stories or in this case, their tales. As the saying of one famous movie said, “when the legend becomes truth, print the legend."
The book, “Mengele, The Complete Story”, makes unsupported accusations, that it’s really laughable. It is filled with words of suggestion, like “ it seems” or “conceivably possible”, “alleged”, “it is assumed”, all throughout the book. The other book by Marwell does the same on page 71 using words like “Mengele is said" and “some witnesses reported”…These are statements of hearsay and would be laughed out of court. You can’t write a book based on insufficient wording like that, claiming facts or making a truthful “complete” story. The books by Marwell are just slander and defamation against a doctor who was trying to help people. The story of “Tito and Nino” in Posner's book is beyond laughable, pp 37... A hunchback who was sewn to a normal child, yep, you heard it right, sewn to the other, back to back, wrist to wrist. Who can believe this nonsense and garbage! This book to its credit has double the pages devoted to the “Mengele Myth” than Posner's book but the search for Mengele after Auschwitz consumes 2/3 more for the rest of the book. You would think with all the complaints against Mengele, the book would be filled with those horror stories. Of course it isn’t because those horror stories set for a Stephen King movie aren’t there.

The book by Marwell, “Mengele: Unmasking the "Angel of Death" doesn’t call the stories the “Mengele Myth” but the “Mengele Effect”, pp77-78 and even adding on pp 282 mentioning the “preposterous” stories of the Mengele fan club members group called CANDLES. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall for those stories as they must have been doozies.
