Hodgson mill spring, 15th largest spring in Missouri

Hodges Water Mill. Hodges spring is the 15th largest spring in Missouri. It puts out an average of 24 million gallons of water a day. This Mill was built over the spring in the late 1800s after the first mill was burnt down in the Civil War. This place is beautiful. Has a beautiful waterfall. We got water straight from the spring and drank it. It was the best water ever. Its an interesting place. There is a cave behind the mill. The trail goes down to White river straight across the river from Sycamore access. Crystal clear water!
