A small number of protesters, both for and against outgoing President Donald Trump, turned out at the Pennsylvania state capitol building on Sunday (January 17).
Security was tight in Harrisburg with police in riot gear and troops stationed on street corners and around the capitol building.
The smattering of protesters came out amid heightened tensions around the country following FBI warnings about armed protests in Washington DC and all 50 states.
Cities have been on alert since January 6 when a mob supporting Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol in a deadly riot.
