An exploration of Acropoli dell Antica Circeo in Lazio Italy. Dating to around 300 - 500 BC (although it could be much older) it has huge polygonal walls and a strange underground 'tholos' tomb that may be the remains of the subterranean tomb of Elpenore. The mountaintop is now covered in vegetation and is surrounded by remains of these walls that once had elaborate gates made of cyclopean blocks and megalithic platforms. Now it is mostly in ruin but a fascinating place to visit.
