Arkansas Gun Season 2020
This would end up being Ron's only rifle harvest for the year. It's no giant by any means, but it sure helped the freezer out. Yes, we later ranged this shot to be 206 yards. That's a bit of a stretch for a 30/30. One that Ron wont knowingly attempt again. As always, we had good times and made good memories that we love sharing with you.

We know we opened the door for ridicule with this, but in Arkansas there is a reason we get 6 tags. We have lots of deer and even some of the little ones could use a bit of harvesting. We, at SMO, are meat hunters 1st, trophy hunters 2nd. This was Ron's only gun harvest for the season....he was looking for antlers after that....and getting his wife on her 1st deer.....and 2nd. Not much video of those, but they will make it on a future highlight video. Subscribe so ya don't miss it.
