XDS 9mm - Grip Zone Mod
Best in 1080p HD! Worked really hard on this one. Think it definitely paid off! Was up late trying to finish so I could post the vid today. Hope you guys enjoy. God bless!
Words of advice - Practice first on something polymer/kydex...(even regular hard plastic)...i.e., knife sheath, old holster, plastic bottle tops.....etc. especially if trying something new. Most important...watch A LOT of YouTube vids! Lol.. Even though I've been doing stippling for about a year now, there's always someone who has more experience, more talent, and more knowledge, that you can learn from.
Also, make sure to give yourself enough time. The XDS was done over two nights, first night was prep work....second was actual stippling. Overall it probably took me 4hrs. The M&P maybe 2.5hrs, (only because I'm familiar with that pattern, and didn't really do that much).
However, my Glock 23 OD custom & Glock 30s (shown in previous vids)... Easily 6hrs each from start to finish, including prep time, complete sanding, removing of finger grooves, undercuts, accelerator pads...etc
