TopHobbyTrains N Scale Athearn F59PHI LokSound Micro ver 4 w/ lights

This mod is of the Athearn F59PHI N Scale locomotive. We start by removing the stock Soundtraxx decoder and speaker. We then mill the frame to provide a cradle for the LokSound cube speaker. The LokSound Micro ver 4 is hard wired to the motor and the frame is tapped to provide power binding screws. The lights are modified to accept our LED assemblies in the 2 ditch lights, headlight 2 nose red lights and the rear light. These are then hard wired to the LokSound decoder. We disassemble the trucks and clean the contact points for better electrical connectivity. Our custom sound and function project is loaded to the decoder providing many of our on the fly features and custom sound mix. In all the loco performs very well and the great sound from the decoder with lighting enhances operating sessions.
