The highly refined Spyderco Stretch is a home run EDC and light tactical blade achievement. It has no discernible downsides for these roles: lightweight at 3.6 oz, perfectly executed jimping on top and bottom ramps, large 14mm deployment hole, perfectly skeletonized nested SS liners, good grip on the FRN and peel ply carbon fiber) handles, useful blade shape thats FULL FLAT GROUND, strong and 4-way postiionable clip, rapid deployment and tight lockup, well balanced, lanyard hole, razor sharp edge finishing out of the box, and excellent steel choices (as of 2010: ultra-hard ZDP-189 or well-proven and easy to sharpen VG-10). The blue ZDP-189 version is cool and both versions shown offer relatively good value considering the features. You would be wise to consider the Stretch as an addition to your duty blade lineup! /////////////////////////// Nutnfancy LIkability Scale : 10 out of 10 //////////////// Music: http://www.partnersinrhyme.com
