The idea of serialized guts is great. But ever time I hear about one, either the manufacturer doesn't come out with anything to change over to, or it cost two-thirds of a whole new firearm to get a 'kit'. It really only has value if the frame breaks or, as you said, if your jurisdiction is in a Democratic authoritarian area that limits the number of firearms you can own. I guess that'll be most places soon enough.
Very nice pistol package. I hope Sig sells a TON of them so that it's all that much harder to confiscate them all.
