Sage Dynamics 12.5 Rosco Patrol Barrel

Tactical Considerations
Published on 11 Sep 2022 / In Firearms

Rosco has been an OEM manufacturer of barrels and other parts for a very long time. If you don't know what an OEM manufacturer is they basically make the parts and label them for another company under their own brand. This Rosco Sage Dynamics labeled barrel is something quite a bit different. Its got a proprietary barrel gas system length and size. Its 416R stainless steel with a nitride finish and is a 1/7 twist rate. The barrel crown is 11 degrees and the barrel has a smooth longer taper with no 90 degree cuts. The gas length is called the patrol length and it comes in at 27.05 ounces for its 12.5 inch length. The performance was soft on recoil and is going to do everything you are going to need out of a 556 barrel.
