This popular supplement is wrecking your health quietly. The supplement is recommended for prevention of heart disease and lowering of cholesterol and has been found to do the direct opposite of what it is supposed to do.

The supplement has been linked to heart disease and strokes. This supplement should carry a health warning going forward as it has now been shown to cause inflammation in our arteries leading plaque formation and subsequently heart disease and strokes. Stick to getting this vitamin from your diet. Stop the supplementation with this vitamin is what my recommendation will be.

This does not distinguish which niacin product was used. Extended release or flush free is quite different from natural B3. This is well documented in the literature.
