Lenoir Preserve Dxpedition 11/21/20

Hello everyone, I just got my new Tecsun PL990X and I wanted to go out and test it at my favorite Dxpedition site. I set up my PL990X along with my Air Antenna at Lenoir Preserve. It was a very nice day with temperatures hovering in the low 60s. As soon as I turned on the radio I ran into problems, it seems the BNC to 3.5mm plug adapter I was using with the Air Antenna was defective. Since I didn't have another adapter I pulled out the backup external reel antenna and that worked well. The PL990X is a another great radio from the folks at Tecsun. One great catch was Channel 292 broadcasting from Germany. That was my first time hearing that station. Overall a great afternoon in the park! Thanks for watching and please subscribe!
