GOD’S view of DEATH and SPIRITISM according to THE BIBLE?
*** Gen 3:19 - In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
*** Ps 6:5 - For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
*** Ps 31:12 - I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.
*** Ps 115:17 - The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence.
*** Ps 146:4 - His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
*** Eccl 9:5 - For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
*** Eccl 9:10 - Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
*** Daniel 12:13 - But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
*** John 11: 13-14 - Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. 14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

WHETHER WE LIVE OR DIE, WE ARE THE LORD’S and then THE RESURRECTION
*** Romans 14:8,9 - 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
*** Phil 1:20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. 21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. 23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: 24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
*** 1 Thess 4:13-18 - 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

FAMILIAR SPIRITS, MEDIUMS, SPIRITISM
*** Lev 19:31 - Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.
*** Lev 20:27 - A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.
*** Deut 18:10-12 - There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
*** 1 Samuel 28: 3, 6-19 - Saul and the Witch of Endor and Samuel (see Diane's comments)
*** Rev 21:8 - But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
