But they do not let you work out. They say, you have been here for hours even though their introduction takes hours and then they kick you to the curb in the middle of your work out. No taking a shower, no going to the rest room, they don't even let you use the wrist bracelet to get your things from the locker. PFRX is harmful to your health instead of helping peoples' health. Come out of here stinking, stressed out, threatened, and made to feel stupid just for doing what their offer asks.

1. Most expensive gym in town has equipment for beginners only
2. People are rarely at the desk or answering phone. I left my wallet at a machine and got pulled over leaving the gym. I payed for my friend to use the gym with me. I sent him up to get my ID. No one was working the desk so my friend used my wristband. He went in to grab my ID they threatened to cancel my membership
3. Male owner was rude. As he trained his obscenely loud grunting beginner client. I answered the phone for my 3 year old daughter AWAY from all machines and he asked me to leave the room as I talked on the phone.
4. I used gym about 250 times. Twice I forgot to put my weights back. Both times I was responding to emergency calls as a first responder and my gym membership was canceled.
I recommend CLUB4 fitness opening just over the bridge to Harvey. Much better environment for real experiences athletes
I really should have paid more attention to the bad reviews here.
I moved back to the CBD area for 4 months and sent Prime Fitness a note asking if I could do a temporary membership. They said sure (see picture).
I am right next to the St. Charles location, but had to go up to Poydras to meet them today. There I find out that the quote I was given isn't what they're going to charge. I'm not only going to be charged the $150 termination fee (please see picture for the in writing waiving of that fee) I'm also going to be charged $663 instead of $544. This is for LESS THAN 4 MONTHS! Holy cow.
On top of that, Sacha had an incredibly arrogant attitude, kept accusing me of telling her I only wanted 3 months, not 3 months and less than 3 weeks (as if that accounts for a ~$300 difference) and didn't care that she put in writing that there was no $150 termination fee.
Cool gym, interesting equipment, but horrible ownership and dishonest business practices. Obviously, I am not a member there...but I did go to another gym that was close...and paid about as much for 4 months as Prime Fitness wanted to upcharge me. It was less than half the price and 1/3 of the attitude.

Do not join this gym! They charge a ridiculous amount of money for completely inadequate equipment. Their men's locker room is a joke it's tiny and the shower stalls don't even lock or stay completely closed. Choose any other gym.

Everybody should go check out the owners Facebook page before using his gym I never been here and after seeing people share his Facebook post I wouldnt recommend using it

Awful place. Awful ownership and terrible management. Equipment and showers are frequently broken and bathroom is always dirty. Owner will say anything to get you to join then will pull the rug from under you and get aggressive when you ask for explanations. Stay away from this place and do not do business with them.
This is the worst gym ever. The manager himself actually hit me in my face outside the parking lot.
