Revelation 9:11, NIV: "They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer)." Revelation 9:11, ESV: "They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon."
Rev 9:11 they HAD a King over them (the locust/iron breastplate 9:3-9:9) which IS the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon and in Greek Apollyon (NOT TO BE confused with the 7 angels with trumpets from Heaven) WOE #1 (9:12)
