For a celebrity who has been canceled on MULTIPLE occasions, Dave Chappelle remains a remarkably successful, in-demand comedian. Which is no doubt why Congresswoman Lauren Boebert wanted a selfie with Chappelle while the standup was visiting the Capitol building in Washington DC. Except after Boebert posted the selfie with a message hostile to trans people, Chappelle announced she had “tricked” him and he didn’t want to be involved with her poltical messaging.
