The Arbatel: Concerning the Magic of the Ancients is a grimoire, magical text, dating from around 1536. It talks of the Seven Olympic Spirits, their attributes and hierarchies and how to summon them.
The Arbatel puts a strong emphasis on maintaining a caring and humble life with complete loyalty to God and to use your powers with prudence.
