Devotion: A Friend In Need | Dave Van Winkle

Marks gospel gives us a great picture of friends that are committed to a relationship. A man was paralyzed in his legs and dependent upon someone to help him with his daily tasks of life. Mark 2 tells us "it was noised that He was in the house" speaking of Jesus. These caring friends carried the man to the house where Jesus was ministering. The house was packed to capacity so they took the paralyzed man up on the roof and opened the roof so that they could lower him to where Jesus was. Jesus healed the man and he was able to rise and walk. What a story regarding great friends and great faith.
