We're all one 4/15/21

It's not the color of your skin I see
But the human that resides within
It's not the tongue or the language you speak
only the intent of love that you bring
It matters not the wrongs we've done
only the consequece of the anguish or the pain we caused
The physical pain means little
When the words of hatred ring strong
As I look around me,what is it do I see
a world of people who are like you and me
Tired of the anguish, and tired of the pain
Wondering what it will take to bring us together again
Mother Gaia has seen so much abuse
contamination of her shores,To the molesting of our youth
How long will it take before we open our hearts
before we finally realize that we're all one
