.22 Magnum (WMR), Speer Gold Dot, 40gr GDHP-SB (0954) VS Water Jugs, 6" Barrel

Test Gun: AMT AutoMag II, 6" Barrel
Test Taken: 10 Feet

Bullet Fired: Speer Gold Dot, 40gr GDHP-SB (0954), .22 Magnum. Claimed Velocity of 1050fps from I belive a 2" barrel..

Results: Bullet penetrated 3 full jugs. Bullet entered the 4th jug, but did not exit. fragments of the jacket and core found throughout the 3 jugs. Fairly good expansion.

It should be noted these rounds are very susecptible to setback from an autoloader. I wonder if CCI should crimp the case, as when chronographing, I watched velocity figures increase quite a bit if the round failed to chamber.
