Testing the Xiegu G1M QRP Radio on 20 and 15m, USB and CW using Morse code on a half-wave end-fed antenna, 64:1 transformer. I did not use a counterpoise in the water because I wanted the antenna to be tuned for land operations and a counterpoise is not needed at QRP levels for a HWEF. For a permanent installation I would have grounded it to the water. Decent little radio for the price, if you are willing to reflow the jacks soldering joints.
