Demonstration firing of some World War II era sub-machine guns. First a Sten MKII 9mm; next a 1928 Thompson .45ACP and finally the M1 Thompson .45ACP. Note the difference in cyclic rate from the slow Sten (500 rpm) to the fast 1928 Thompson (700+ rpm). Video taken at a historical weapons demonstration held following an inter-service shoot hosted by the army.
