WEF calls for an end to private car ownership
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is calling for the end of private car ownership in the name of saving the world from climate change by reducing the need for green tech resources.
“We need a clean energy revolution, and we need it now,” the WEF begins its article.
According to the WEF, critical metals, such as cobalt, lithium, and nickel — all of which are used in “clean energy technologies” — are in short supply. And while the WEF says recycling old tech that uses these metals could lessen the impact of shortages, it’s simply not enough.
Communist China lauds “cooperation” with Klaus Schwab
A top Communist Party of China (CCP) official openly lauded cooperating with the World Economic Forum’s Klaus Schwab
In an unsettling tweet on Wednesday, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang praised Schwab after a virtual meeting to discuss cooperation with China.
Both figures can be seen posing in typical communist fashion with a raised hand —reflective of Chairman Mao-era propaganda.
“Premier Li Keqiang met virtually with Executive Chairman of World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab,” the Chinese Embassy in Ghana tweeted.
“China appreciates (WEF’s) consistent focus on economic development and stronger cooperation with China.”

B.C. to introduce 'cooling off' period legislation for real estate
British Columbia's government will introduce legislation in the spring of 2022 with the aim of giving homebuyers a chance to change their minds on the purchase of a home, according to the province.
In a statement Thursday, the province said a so-called cooling-off period would allow purchasers to back out with no or diminished legal consequences.
The B.C. Financial Services Authority said it also will be consulting with those in the real estate industry and other experts on more ways to protect consumers, including a review of the blind bidding system, which can significantly raise the price of purchase.
