For this video I will be seating Federal 210 primers. When seating primers, it is critical to seat past flush. .003 to.007 is the safe range so you need to seat according to your shooting requirements. A primer that is seated above flush is VERY dangerous and you need to correct the issue before proceeding. Dial/Digital calipers are NOT ideal for primer depth measurements, a depth micrometer is ideal. So, I use the fingernail method. If itβs past flush, itβs good to go. Proceed at your own risk. The Dillon BL550 allows for easy and consistent priming. There are many different methods for priming cartridge cases, but the Dillon BL550 will consistently seat primers more consistently than most reloaders will require. For my coyote application, it will work perfectly. I do enjoy the ease of manually feeding the primers and Dillon offers a sweet set up with the BL550. God bless and thanks for watching. Highboy
