Users ‘should be aware’ technology is spying on us. It's only high profile people that shouldn't be spied on by tech devices

Tech expert Trevor Long has told Sky News while we don’t need to be "paranoid" about being spied on by the equipment in our home, we “should be aware” that it’s happening.

How bizarre: We shouldn't be concerned if these devices are listening to us; it's the politicians and those of 'high profile' who need to be protected from tech devices 'spying' on them? Best way to stop these devices listening-in is to switch them off with a 4 kilogramme hammer. Sorry, Sky News Australia, we ARE living in a surveillance state. Safety regulations don't matter, and peer-reviewed scientific evidence of dangerous technologies don't matter either if there's money to be made.
