UPDATE: Department Names Her Deputy Of The Month, But Grand Jury Indicts Her On Multiple Felonies

Link to the department that gave her a verbal warning and a deputy of the month award for allegedly committing multiple felonies. They disabled comments on their FB page when the initial beating occured over a year ago, and have never turned them back on. Colleagues and superiors praised and congratulated her for her actions all the way up until she was indicted, and they were finally forced to let her go. The other Deputies on scene were never diciplined and still work for the department. To this day the department and the city stand behind her actions, and have never publicly stated otherwise.
