UFO "religion" influencing Congress to hunt aliens, says top Pentagon official

Sean Kirkpatrick, the director of the Pentagon’s UFO investigation office, recently retired, went public and revealed his shocking discoveries about UFOs.

He says during his time investigating UFOs at the Pentagon, with top secret access, he found "no evidence of aliens" flying around our skies.

And he says a small group of "religious" UFO activists and "conspiracists" have spent years duping Congress with false and deceptive claims.

Can you please comment on Kirkpatrick's claim that Congress has been duped by a small group of UFO "conspiracists"?

“AARO plays an important role in support of our national security. Resolving UAP reports is necessary to avoid technical surprise and ensure we have an understanding of what is happening in our airspace. Senator Gillibrand believes in a scientifically rigorous and data-driven approach to analyzing unidentified anomalous phenomena and will continue to ensure AARO upholds this mission.”

“We have video proof and pilots chasing these things, so who's really being duped? My colleagues and I have talked to multiple pilots who have seen objects doing things the human body can't withstand. I have nothing personal against Kirkpatrick, but we have lots of evidence and testimony from a lot of reputable sources on this.”

“My priority is to ensure that government is accountable to the people. The Federal Government spends millions of dollars examining UAPs. American taxpayers paid for this information, and they elected members of Congress to oversee it. That’s clearly not happening. When pilots numerous near misses, we owe it to them to investigate. When whistleblowers come forward with disturbing information, we are duty bound to investigate. To this point, it’s been impossible to get a straight answer from the federal bureaucracy. Our federal agencies exist exclusively to benefit the American public. If unelected bureaucrats and defense contractors can shut down Congressional oversight, then we don’t have a real republic. As a member of the Oversight Committee tasked with just that, oversight of the federal government, I will continue to demand transparency and follow the evidence.“

“The Biden Administration has failed to be transparent on nearly every front. Based on the classified briefings I have attended with other members of Congress, it appears that there are serious national security concerns that must be addressed.
