Pennsylvania Marijuana Poll Shows Highest-Ever Support For Legalization

A recent survey showed that 70% of Pennsylvania's want legal cannabis less than a quarter are against it the remainder are unsure don't care. Pennsylvania's Governor Tom Wolfe has really been wanting cannabis for a long time and the tenant Governor John fetterman is probably one of the most vocal cannabis politicians out there he went as far to decorate his office with cannabis flags and when people took him down he says he assumed they were just kidding and he put them back up he's a giant dude he's a giant cannabis advocate for sure

New poll results out of Pennsylvania show that nearly 6 in 10 (58
percent) adult residents support the “complete legalization” of
marijuana in the commonwealth, the highest level of support for
legalization since the Muhlenberg College’s annual public health poll
began tracking the issue.

“The trend on public support for legalization of marijuana in
Pennsylvania is clear, with support growing for the eighth year in a
row,” Chris Borick, director of the college’s Institute of Public
Opinion, said in a statement accompanying the survey results. “As the
state government considers this policy option, the public is
increasingly coming to the conclusion that they support legalization.”

Just over a quarter of respondents (26 percent) said they were
opposed to legalizing cannabis in Pennsylvania. Another 14 percent
neither favored nor opposed legalization, while three percent said they
weren’t sure.

Better Measures Are Needed to Detect Cannabis Impairment While Driving, Experts Say

The study came from the Canadian Medical Association Journal and was conducted by a research team associated with [Lady Davis Institute](http://www.ladydavis.ca/)
of the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. Sarah Windle, who was a
lead author on the study, is now a Ph.D. at McGill University.

“We
would love to have that one measure that says, okay, this person is
impaired, or they aren’t, said Windle. “But unfortunately, in the case
of cannabis, it just isn’t that simple.”

Berlin company gets €505k to develop water soluble CBD emulsion



“We can
now transfer our technological lead in extraction to product
development,” said Kamphorst. He said the ZIM funding “shows that there
is keen interest from the federal side in establishing local research on
cannabinoids and their application.”

Becanex was founded in 2018
by Kamphorst and Eral Osmanoglou, who now serves the company as CTO. The
company has production facilities in Berlin-Adlershof and employs more
than 30 people. Research and development operations are in Holland.
Customers include brand manufacturers from Germany, Europe, South Africa
and Australia.

The funding application was submitted through
Cannabis-Net, a German-Canadian network that supports companies in the
BMWI grant application process.
