The House Of The Seven Flies By Victor Canning
SATURDAY NIGHT THEATRE
When a passenger named Sluiter dies on board a chartered boat, the English captain, Furse, is launched on a hunt for a quarter of a million pounds worth of diamonds stolen from an Amsterdam bank. To win the prize, he needs to out-manoeuvre Detective Inspector Molenaar, acting for the bank, and Rohner, a top-flight crook. He has a clue, "Seven Flies", but what does it mean? To solve the riddle he works with Constanta, Sluiter's business associate, and Charlie, an old friend of Furse's with a shady past.
