The Gospel of Mark | Animated Movie | Chapter 14
The gospel of Mark is the shortest of the four gospels, but it is nonetheless an excellent recounting of the life and teachings of Jesus, which is remarkably consistent with what Matthew and Luke wrote in their gospel accounts. This is the fourteenth chapter of a fully illustrated/partially animated interpretation of the gospel according to Mark.
At the beginning of this chapter, a woman anoints Jesus with expensive perfume (much to chagrin of his disciples and especially Judas), but Jesus commends her action and says it will be remembered forever. Jesus knows the end is coming soon, has his disciples prepare the final Passover that they will eat together. Meanwhile, Judas (the traitor) goes to the High Priest and organizes how to betray Jesus to them. Later, at the mount of Olives, after Jesus prays that God's will be done and not his own, Jesus is taken by the mob to be tried in a kangaroo court. Peter follows at a distance to see what will happen, but is spotted by people who know he was with Jesus of Nazareth. Will Peter follow through on his early promise!?

What is "A Voice in the Desert"?
The purpose of A Voice in the Desert is to point people to the message, rather than the messenger. Most modern day prophets promote themselves more than the teachings of Jesus and the true message of Revelation. A Voice in the Desert challenges that error and more. Some of the things you hear on this channel may be difficult to understand, and may offend you. The goal, however, is to sweep away dogmas and traditions to reveal what Jesus actually taught.
