When it seems like you are trapped their is always a door of escape?
Music by Send Rain

1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

2Sa 11:2 And it came to pass in an evening, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.

First door; Man is she hot, turn and walk away, easy to do, no consequences.

2Sa 11:5 And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.

Second Door; Repent, make it right with God and Uriah, consequences yes indeed, with God forgiven, with Uriah name your price?

2Sa 11:15  And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.

Third door; adultery, and now murder, Go to God, Repent, consequences, yes indeed, with God Forgiven, with Uriah the guilt of murdering a friend an innocent man in cold blood, with Bathsheba absolutely zero respect?

David ignored all three doors and the consequences get worse with every door?

If David had repented at any time, God would have forgiven him, consequences yes, however it would have been far better.

1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. However David did not repent.

2Sa 11:26-27 And when the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband.27 And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.

Finally David is exposed; (The Story) 2Sa 12:7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man.

Then he repents, and now the consequences follow. Child dies, kingdom divided.
