The Absurdity of the 100% Blank Ballot

Who in their right mind would take time out of their busy life to cast a 100 percent blank ballot? Would you or anyone you know, drive to a polling place, wait in line, verify your ID, and then go to the trouble of filling out a ballot, only to leave every position blank? This is what that process would look like: Step 1: Drive to the polling place. Step 2: Wait in line to sign in. Step 3: Verify ID and sign into the polls. Step 4: Obtain a ballot and pen. Step 5: Go to the poll box. Step 6: Fill out not a single position for any candidate or measure. Step 7: Insert the 100 percent blank ballot into the voting machine. Step 8: See the warning screen that asks if you're sure you want to cast a blank ballot. Step 9: Confirm that you wanted to cast a blank ballot by selecting "Cast Blank Ballot". Step 10: Get your "I Voted" sticker. Who actually believes that millions of Americans are going through all this just to cast a completely blank ballot? Something doesn't add up. Why do you think that election administrators would be trying to conceal the truth about these 100 percent blank ballots?
