Testing the 2017 IDPA Fault Lines
S&D Indoor Range

Had a good evening testing out shooting from my side on the floor as well as a couple stages implementing the new 2017 Fault Line rules. I have to say, those fault lines can be doable, but they will most likely force MD's to modify their stages so that target array's are much more condensed and less challenging in order to maintain safety.
We all have preached that hugging cover is a bad thing, and these Fault Lines pretty much force us to do it in order to achieve target acquisition. There has been plenty of debate and trolling on the forums and Facebook regarding the subject so I will leave it at that. We shall see how HQ reacts to the news, the emails, and the online 'input' regarding the implementation of mandatory Fault Lines.
In general, I am progressing, but the rate of progress has slowed. I know I need to clean up some areas but I also continue to fail in doing so come game time vs what I achieve in Drills at home.
I am looking to implement a bit more structure into my training and how I focus on improving each component of my shooting. We shall see how things go in 2017.
If you have any feedback, ideas or tips on things you see on the video, please let me know. Production quality based or shooting based.
Enjoy!
