Tapco Mini-14 Mags: Not Ready for Primetime...Yet

Some disappointing performance from the new Tapco Gen 1 Mini-14 polymer mags. I think the performance will be improved with future iterations but the feed performance, wobbly fit, and difficult mag well insertion (when full) all need to be corrected. Tapco is a great company and I remain a big fan... but this Mini-14 magazine from my testing shows it to be a miss. /////////////////// Nutnfancy Likability Scale: NOT RECOMMENDED for now ////////////// Update: June 4, 2010: Tapco development team immediately contacted me and they are working on the reliability issues I discuss here and I will assist in further testing.
