Tanghulu recipe using Corn Syrup
I added one more recipe that includes using corn syrup as well, you may find it a bit more forgiving. DON'T FORGET TO USE A BASTING BRUSH TO WIPE DOWN THE SIDES OF THE PAN TO PREVENT CRYSTALLIZATION!!!!

Ingredients to make the hard candy mixture:
1/4 cup water
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup corn syrup
Bring it to 150c (using a candy thermometer)
If you dont have one, its usually around 12-15 min from the boiling point. You can always test it by taking some and drizzle it in cold water, if its hard that means its ready!
