Cr0cket20 and TNP guest, Keith CEO of Tactical Solutions, are getting tuckered with the cold and the running but I throw in a few more runs before we call it quits. Night has fallen in this final Part 4, high winds, plummeting temps, and blowing snow earlier makes this TNP RunNGun especially challenging. But I am driven to test these guns (and myself) in the snow. Runs show more Tactical Solutions Pac-Lite and Trail-Lite receiver uppers, my Hogue equipped TacSol 10/22, and a Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 (for comparison) in action. Fingers got cold but you still need dexterity so I ran the execellent Mechanix Gloves in the runs; the others ran heavier fleece but it didn't help. Making hits under these conditions is tough. My favorte TacSol guns in this "Snowblind Shoot" were their most proven designs: The Pac-Lite and Trail-Lite uppers for the Ruger 22/45 and the Browning Buckmark and Ruger 10/22s ran impressively. They are lightweight and fast into action. The AR-22 was mostly reliable. The Glock TSG-22 was again a disappoint to me and I can't recommend it at this time. Again these are rimfires and ammo consistency comes into play too (several light primer strikes caused us problems and I interrupted the runs to investigate them a bit! Thanks to Cr0cket20 and Keith who manned up on this tough shoot!///////////////Music from Skywriter
