This isn't just training - it's a breeding ground for violence, sexism, and racism! 🀬 These so-called 'trainers' and Dennis Benigno, who is the owner and founder of Street Cop Training, spew vulgar, hateful rhetoric, glorifying unconstitutional methods and degrading minorities! 😑 It's an outrage! THIS MUST STOP NOW! If we let these bullies shape our police forces, American policing faces a grim, oppressive future. πŸ‘Ž We demand immediate action against Street Cop Training to prevent a national crisis in law enforcement. Wake up, America!

Acting State Comptroller Kevin Walsh explains the risks of private, post-academy police training and why it needs to be regulated. Outrage is growing over a taxpayer funded police training conference in New Jersey. The state comptroller says the conference glorified violence, sexism and racism, and clips from the training sessions were called β€œwildly inappropriate.” The scathing review comes at a time of increased scrutiny on law enforcement across the country following high-profile cases.
The Office of the State Comptroller investigated a private police training conference held in New Jersey. The conference was held by a private company called Street Cop Training.

    1. Some instructors at the Street Cop Training conference promoted a β€œwarrior” approach to policing and dehumanized civilians, referring to them as β€œgang bangers” or using offensive memes.

    2. OSC's investigation found more than 100 discriminatory and harassing comments were made by speakers.

    3. Instructors at the conference promoted the use of unconstitutional policing tactics for motor vehicle stops.

    4. At the Street Cop Training conference, speakers encouraged insubordination and belittled Internal Affairs, which investigates police misconduct.
