title: that's a "teacher" who needs credential stripping immediately.
in Oregon its law you CAN drive to a safe place to pull over to take care of the business of a traffic citation. other States should adopt a similar policy, its also matter of safety for the officer making the stop.

been there.. had over a ton of cinderblocks in my van, a stoplight turned yellow and I wasn't about to slam the brakes to stop quickly! pulled over in a store parking lot 1/2 mile ahead and explained "yeah that was pretty orange, but look". the officer understood, I didn't get a ticket for it. that mass of blocks could have literally crushed me if I tried to stop in time.
