That is the problem with computer based decisions. It does not take into account of the complexities of reality or the human factor. i would say we have bad program designers and totally greedy psychopathic corporate world that could not care indeed one bit that societies implode. It is not just about South Africa. The same happens regularly in USA and other part of the world. Just in time maybe great for non essential goods but a catastrophe for essential goods.
Just In Time(JIT) inventory system has set us up for rapid disruption of critical supplies. I hope people get prepared.
