Back in the late 60's after I closed up our gas station I went across the street to Kentucky Fried Chicken and for $10 I would pick up a bucket of leftover fried chicken, with all the fixins'. Took it home to my parents house. We ate like Kings and we was whiteys. I have always loved fried chicken greens and other soul food.
The next thing I remember is a trip to New Orleans and out in the Country we came across a restaurant with all black africans working in it I asked did they serve white folks, and they took it as an insult. What's wrong with you? We make the best fried chicken in the State, how may we serve you? Look racism and prejudice ain't gonna go away under any law, we all have to deal with it, as best we can.
