Self Deception are You Lying to Yourself?

The Apostle John devoted an entire letter to this.

He is asking those who are saved if they are in Fellowship with God?

1Jn 1:5-6 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

Are you walking in darkness and lying to yourself about it, self deception?

Any sin that you know about but refuse to deal with takes you out of fellowship with God and opens you up to demonic attack?

1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

God wants the absolute best for you and the only way to accomplish that is to walk in fellowship with Him, are you walking in truth or self deception?

1Jn 2:3-6 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Again, are you walking in darkness and lying to yourself about it, self deception?

1Jn 2:9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. 10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

Love expels darkness and covers a multitude of sins?

1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Darkness; is their anything in the world you love more than God?

1Jn 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Only you and God knows if you are in fellowship with Him Their is no neutral ground ether you are in fellowship with God or you are not?
