Savage Mark II-F bolt action accuracy test and range report.

Today we went to the range for a less than spectacular performance of my shooting at 100 yards. I fired two groups of 10 and in the past have kept my groups below 2" with this rifle. Today, that didn't happen. This rifle is definitely more accurate than I can shoot it and I think we need a bit more dialing in of the scope to show off what this rifle can truly do. Keep in mind (insert excuse here) I was shooting with my Site N Clean gun holder and not a lead sled or any kind of benching device that prevents the gun from moving so between the wind and my movements while shooting, I see this level of accuracy as acceptable but not exceptional. Your results will probably be better (or just stick with the iron sights which are fairly accurate out of the box.
